E-1 and E-2 visas bring in four times more immigrants than EB-5 visas
The most recent data available shows that the US, E-1 Treaty Trader visa and E-2 Treaty Investor visa bring four times more immigrants into the US than the much publicised EB-5, immigrant investor program, according to the Center for Immigration Studies [CIS] - an anti-immigration research organization.
While the CIS is an anti-immigration organisation their report despite containing numerous inaccuracies is actually quite interesting.
Based on data from the US Department of State's Report of the Visa Office for 1994 through 2013, the Center for Immigration Studies says that the E-1 Treaty Trader and E-2 Treaty Investor programs provided non-immigrant visas for more than 42,000 foreign nationals in 2013.
Trump and his Modelling Agency Loves 'Hot Chick' US Immigrants!
A report published by daily US newspaper, the New York Post, says that Trump ‘loves immigrants if they’re hot chicks.’’ His modelling agency – Trump Model Management has according to Reuters employed 250 models on visas such as the O-1 exceptional talent visa and H-1B visa.
The New York Post writes that Donald Trump ‘loves models at home’, referring to his ex-wife Ivana and current spouse Melania - who were both models – and his daughters Ivanka and Tiffany, who have in the past worked as models.
A video published on Heat Street website on Monday 18, April, sees several models on the books at Trump Model Management describe their feelings towards their boss who has become known for his anti-immigrant and xenophobic rhetoric as he bids to secure the Republican Presidential nomination.

Immigrants needed to 'clean up after us' says Trump's ex-wife
During an interview with the New York Post, Ivana Trump the ex-wife of frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, Donald Trump, put forward some interesting views on US immigration, saying that the country needs immigrants because "who's going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don't like to do that."
Ivana Trump, who was originally from Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic and Slovak Republic], also stated that she was 'in favor of newcomers taking the route to become legal, US citizens'.
She said: "As long as you come here legally and get a proper job . . . we need immigrants." However, she was quick to state that she supported her ex-husband's stringent stance on illegal immigration.
Canadian immigration: Food workers best chance of Express Entry
In its first 12 months, Canada's highly anticipated Express Entry system saw 191,279 applications made in 2015, of which 31,000 were offered the opportunity to become permanent residents – 16% of whom worked in the food service and cooking industries.
The Express Entry system, which is Canada's flagship economic immigration selection system, has been branded a success for its 'just in time' system that has processed most applications from start to finish within the government's target timeframe of six months.
