Irish Immigration instead of UK Immigration!
If you are unable to stay in the UK or are considering immigration to an English speaking EU Country it may be worth considering Ireland as an immigration destination.
Regulations on Irish work permits have been changed, making it easier for foreign nationals outside of the European Union to secure a work visa in Ireland. The changes, which came into effect on Tuesday, 1 September 2015, allow more occupations to become eligible for work permits.
Workpermit.com can help you to find an employer in Ireland. Ideally you should be a contractor with a contract in Ireland or another country. Call our London office on 0344 991 9222 or email london@workpermit.com
Trump looks to curb entry of US H-1B Visa workers
Frontrunner to be the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has targeted skilled migrant workers in his new immigration proposals.
The proposed immigration plan, released recently, looks to raise wages for graduate level skilled workers entering the US on the popular H-1B visa.
Such a move would make the employment of skilled overseas workers less attractive for American companies something which Trump says will increase the number of native workers and permanent residents employed in pivotal fields such as technology.
Tier 2 visa restrictions already having negative effect says IT Leader
Guy Levin, the executive director of Coadec [the Coalition for a Digital Economy] and a former government advisor, says a proposed review of Tier 2 visa rules is already having a negative effect on British businesses.
The UK government is planning to review the country's current Tier 2 visa rules and make them even tighter. Levin says: "The proposals are already having a negative effect, increasing the perception that the UK does not welcome foreign workers and is not an attractive proposition for anyone looking to start-up a business here."

Tommy Nilsson, the Social Democrat party's manager for southern Sweden described the poll results as a 'tremendous breakthrough.'
Finnish Immigration Service reduces asylum seeker financial support
The Finnish Immigration Service has cut financial support for asylum seekers by 10 per cent since 2009 as the country struggles with growing asylum seeker numbers.
Six years ago, a family of five asylum seekers entering Finland would get a monthly allowance close to €1,300 to be used for food and general living expenses.
However, Finnish Immigration officials say that despite cost of living increases a family of five asylum seekers arriving now receive ten per cent less than in 2009, approximately €1,100 per month.
