The Australian Government is continuing to hold Expos in Australia and around the world in an attempt to meet their needs for skilled workers.
There will be expos until November 2005 with further expos planned for 2006.
Australian employers are looking for people who meet the following criteria:
- Under 45 years of age
- Good English language skills
- Qualifications and/or work experience for occupations on the Skilled Occupation List
Abul Rizvi, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs has said the following to employers:
"This is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to recruit overseas workers that you will find anywhere. All we ask is for your human resource manager's time and we will provide them skilled migrants to interview. You decide who and we will tell you how."
We are providing below details of the expos in 2005.
