Skilled immigration to the UK, Canada and Australia has become increasingly difficult in recent years. Singapore and Hong Kong already have large Indian communities. More and more Indians are looking at Singapore and Hong Kong as immigration destinations.
Mass immigration of Indians to Singapore started about two hundred years ago. Originally the Indian population consisted of young men who came as workers, soldiers and convicts. The twentieth century saw the Indian community in Singapore develop further. Indians are now represented in a wide variety of different occupations in Singapore.
Similarly Indians have been in Hong Kong since 1841. Sikhs, Parsis and other South Asians have been a major influence in Hong Kong society. The earliest policemen in Hong Kong were Indians (Sikhs) and there are still South Asians, as well as Europeans in the current Police force. Indians were amongst the founders of the University of Hong Kong and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (better known as HSBC).

Singapore Landed Permanent Residence (LPR) Immigration Scheme:
If you have professional or tertiary qualifications and are interested in immigration to Singapore you can apply for LPR. You then have one year to find a job and relocate to Singapore. Processing time is only about one month.
Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme:
You should be proficient in written and spoken English or Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese). You will normally need to have a first degree from a recognized university or a tertiary educational institution. It may also be possible to apply based on good technical qualifications, proven professional abilities and/or experience.
