If you are in Ireland and would like to learn about immigrating to Australia or New Zealand, make sure to head over to the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) for the Down Under Expo.The event will be held on the 27th and 28th of September, 2008, and admission is 10 euros.
The Expo is "the only exhibition of its kind in Ireland showcasing Living, Working and Travelling to either Australia or New Zealand", according to the event's website. The Expo brings together variety of organizations, such as New Zealand and Australian employers, recruitment agencies, the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship, and the New Zealand Government Immigration Service. In addition, State and Territory Government Skilled Migration Units from across Australia will attend the event.
The event will provide a unique opportunity to meet Australian and New Zealand employers who have job openings available for overseas workers. People will also be able to speak directly with State and local government representatives and obtain valuable information on requirements for living and working in New Zealand or Australia.
The event will also have free seminars on the various schemes offered by both countries, such as Australia's General Skilled Migration scheme and New Zealand's Skilled Migrant Category.
The dates and times for the Expo are:
- Saturday 27th September 2008 from 10.00am to 5.00pm
- Sunday 28th September 2008 from 12.00noon to 5.00pm
